Quality Assurance Unit
What we do
Online section for the University College Alberta Giménez (CESAG) Quality Assurance Unit. Its mission is to offer technical and methodological support and advice in the assessment and improvement processes carried out at the centre. We work closely with the Quality Assurance and Prospective Studies Unit at Comillas Pontifical University.
It also provides public information about the action taken at University College Alberta Giménez (CESAG) to ensure the quality of its qualifications, as official university qualifications must be subjected to a verification, monitoring and accreditation process. We have an internal Quality Assurance System to foster continuous improvement processes in our qualifications, as specified in Spanish Organic Law on Universities (LOU) and the adaptation to the European Higher Education Area.
Seals and awards
On 1 March 2022, ANECA approved the certification of the implementation of the Quality Management System at our Centre, as part of the AUDIT programme.
On 25 May 2022, University College Alberta Giménez (CESAG) was awarded institutional accreditation from ANECA. It enables institutions which have been awarded this to renew accrediation for the official qualifications they teach without the need for the institution to go through the accreditation renewal procedure.
