Admission Process

All the qualifications offered by University College Alberta Giménez (CESAG) are governed by certain entry requirements and admission criteria, the details of which depend on each qualification. Beforehand, we hold open days to enable potential applicants to learn about our institution. Our Bachelor’s degree admission process can be summarised in five chronological steps:

1. Pre-registration

Pre-registration is completed via the website. To provide the required documentation, we recommend using the online option (the section “Send all the documentation”). You also have the option of filing the application and the documentation in person or by postal recorded delivery to the Student Admissions Department (SEE ATTACHED INFORMATION SHEET). In the event that any places remain available, a new application period will be opened and there will be additional entrance exams. This information will be given on the web page.

Those who are interested in pre-registering for the Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Science (CAFYD) must provide a statement of compliance as part of the process. See standard models and clarifications about the diagnostic and medical tests.

Pre-registration closed:Communication, Education, Nursing and Sports Science degrees.

Start date of the admission process: 8 February 2023

2. Personal interview

The personal interview makes it possible to get to know you better and evaluate your qualities, as well as being an opportunity to discuss the degree course you wish to embark on in more detail and why you would like to study it.

3. Language proficiency exam

Once applicants have completed pre-registration, they will have to do an online exam for University College Alberta Giménez to demonstrate their proficiency in English, Spanish and Catalan. There will be no language proficiency exam for entry to the Nursing degree. The exams consist of grammar tests. Applicants will have to bring a mobile telephone, tablet or computer with them for these exams.

Next exam: Wednesday, 6 September 2023, at 11:00. Place: room 15

4. Communication and Entry Requirements

Once pre-registration, the language proficiency exam and the interview have been completed, applicants will be informed whether they have been admitted to the degree course they applied for. Being admitted does not exempt the applicants from completing the University Access Exam (Prueba de Acceso a la Universidad, or PAU) or from fulfilling the requirements entailed in other access routes.

5. Enrolment

Once all the previous steps have been taken, students must complete their enrolment. he process is carried out via the website There are two enrolment periods, in July and September. You will not be able to do this process if you have not completed before the pre-registration (and been admitted to the university college). If you still have any questions, do not hesitate to ask us for more information by phone or email or by requesting a personal interview through our contact forms.

6. Start date for the academic year and welcome day for new students

Classes will beginTuesday 12 September 2023 for the 2023-2024 academic year. We will hold a welcome day for our first-year students on Monday 11 September.
