Educate. Inspire. Connect

What is University College Alberta Giménez (CESAG)?

Tradition with innovation

Our history

We are the first and oldest university college in Mallorca. Our initial speciality was teacher training, embracing the legacy of a century-old vocation for education that began in 1872 with the first school in the Balearic Islands for training schoolmistresses. This mission continued in 1948 with the creation of the Escuela de Magisterio de la Iglesia La Pureza, converted in 1974 into a university college. In 2005, we began the first on-site courses in Communication in Mallorca. In 2016, we began Sports Studies and in 2022 we launched the new Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. University College Alberta Giménez (CESAG) has been affiliated with Comillas Pontifical University since 2014. Our style of educating: personalised attention for students and teaching excellence.

-Space for care

A space for care is a space which enables all the people who make up the CESAG family to live, grow and develop with the joy and confidence generated by trust. We openly condemn any signs and/or actions of abuse that go against care and respect for human dignity. As with all Pureza de Maria educational establishments, we provide training and we implement protocols, manuals and mechanisms that foster compliance with the law and respectful relationships between all those involved in the educational community.
