Safe spaces for learning

The QuirónSalud Palmaplanas Hospital will house the simulation classrooms needed for the Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. The facilities will include:

  • Simulation Room 1: Nurse consultation room. Room equipped to simulate a nurse’s consultation room/triage bay. With table, chairs, computer and area for monitoring vital signs.
  • Simulation Room 2: surgical area.
  • Simulation Room 3: hospitalisation area/ICU, Emergency.
  • Control room. Control room for simulations 1 and 2 for handling cases. Camera system and integrated recording. Two tables and two chairs, as well as monitors and controls for controlling the simulated cases.
  • Multipurpose classroom: area for briefings, seminars and technique workshops, equipped with movable tables and chairs. Screen connected to simulation rooms 1 and 2. Capacity for 30 people (simultaneously)
  • Meeting room. Equipped with tables and chairs for team meetings or tutorials with students, with capacity for 10 people. Projector screen.
  • Two offices. Designated for use by professionals who perform teaching or administrative duties
  • Changing rooms: for men and women, equipped with lockers
  • Storerooms and cupboards for materials
